REDHEADS

Saturday, September 24, 2011

Im thinking about coloring my hair into red or orange. I get inspired by Slovenian singer Nina Puslar and Slovenian fashion designer Nina Susnjara.

So, I make a little research to see other famous people with red hair (some of them are nor red-heads anymore)

MARCIA CROSS

Read what Marcia C. said in People magazine about her hair:
"With the red hair, you get the white skin; it's a package deal. The cons are that you never look particularly attractive on the beach. The pros are in a softly lit room, you look pretty. I use as high SPF as I can get, and I live under a hat like a mushroom all the time. Someone said they're worried about their kids getting older and doing drugs, and I got this look of horror on my face and thought, 'What if my girls don't wear hats?' But at 13 months old, they could say 'hat.'"

ISLA FISHER
Isla Fisher Actress Isla Fisher attends the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Governor's Island on June 5, 2011 in New York City.
Read what Isla F. said in People magazine about her hair:
"It was great having red hair as a kid because I had something to blame my temper on. Now I go for the same color palette as Conan O'Brien. I did dye it blonde once, but it backfired, as I had nothing to blame my temper on!"

AMY ADAMS

Read what Amy A. said in People magazine about her hair:
"I am completely open to dying my hair for a role. Giselle, from Enchanted, had blonde hair for a second. I am happy that Disney agreed with me that I looked much better as a redhead. I do, however, love wigs. There is so much freedom in wigs. When I dyed my hair true red for the first time, I felt as if it was what nature intended. I have been accused of being a bit of a spitfire, so in that way I absolutely live up to the stereotype. The red hair suited my personality. I was a terrible blonde."

JULIANNE MOORE

Read what Julianne M. said in People magazine about her hair:
"Nobody likes being different as a kid. In first grade kids called me Freckleface Strawberry—it was a drink mix. It is also the title of my children's book. I dyed my hair blonde for a new movie called Blindness. It was fun for two days; then I started to hate it. I spent all my life wishing for different color hair, but now I felt too weird to enjoy it. The minute the movie wrapped, I changed it back."

CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

Read what Christina H. said in People magazine about her hair:
"I've been red off and on since age 10, when I was obsessed with Anne of Green Gables. My mom said, 'Let's put a rinse on, and you can be Anne for a couple days.' I was thrilled: It was carrot red. In high school I was a Goth girl, so I went from fire engine to purple to black. Recently two of my best friends started calling me Red. It's funny because they've known me for years. I guess I'm convincing enough: With the red hair and some blush, it looks like I've been on the moors in Ireland."

LAUREN AMBROSE

Read what Lauren A. said in People magazine about her hair:
"There was something about Lucille Ball being a big part of my childhood; I feel she's the reason I wanted to be an actress. Shirley MacLaine as well. These fierce women of showbiz with red hair—as a kid it was exciting to think I could be one of those redheads."

Just so you know- Im not thinking to coloring my color in red or orange color like girls are colored on pictures below:
