I made these cookies to impress one guy but when I brought them to him, he said he hates cookies and that was the moment I realized he’s not the right kind of guy for me. Luckily his friend came over and he ate them all. Maybe I suck at showing people how much I care but the fact I would spend a whole day to bake cookies for someone says more than any word I could said instead.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsp cinnamon, & extra for garnish
  • 1 recipe of Cream Cheese Frosting

DIRECTIONS
1. Use stand mixer. In the bowl put butter and sugar until it turn in to a cream. Add the egg, and the vanilla. Mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients to bowl of wet ingredients and mix until just incorporated.
3. Cover the dough and let it chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut circles out (you can use a glass) and place them onto a baking sheet with prepared parchment paper. Continue cutting cookies until all the dough is used.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on tray for a few minutes.
6. While cookies cool, prepare cream cheese frosting and place it in a pastry bag. Decorate your cookies with cream. Sprinkle cookies with cinnamon and serve.

SESTAVINE
  • 1 skodelica masla  (225 g)
  • 1 skodelica sladkorja
  • 1 večje jajce
  • 1 1/2 žličke vanilijeve arome
  • 3 skodelice moke
  • 1 1/2 žličke pecilnega praška
  • 1 žlička soli
  • 2 1/2 žlice cimeta & dodatno za posip
  • 1 recept Glazure iz kremnega sira
POSTOPEK
1. Uporabljaj mešalnik za lažjo pripravo. V posodo daj maslo in sladkor dokler ne dobiš kreme. Dodaj jajce in vanilijo. Dobro premešaj.
2. V drugi posodi zmešaj moko, pecilni prašek, sol in cimet. Suho mešanico dodaj mokri zmesi in miksaj dokler se ne povežejo in nastane testo.
3. Testo pokrij in postavi v hladilnik za 1 uro.
4. Testo razvaljaj na pomokano površino. Iz testa izreži krogce s pomočjo kozarca ali modelčkov in jih postavi na pekač pokrit s peki paprijem. Nadaljuj z izdelavo piškotov dokler ne porabiš celotno testo.
5. Piškote peči na 180°C za 8 do 12 minut. Piškotki naj se za nekaj minut pohladijo na pekaču.
6. Med tem, ko se piškoti hladijo pripravi kremno glazuro in jo nadevaj v vrečko za dekoracijo. Piškotke dekoriramo s kremo po želji in nato jih posipamo z cimetom.
