RedHead Learning How To Cook: Mini Doughnuts

A little redhead that absolutely sucks at cooking actually made something ! A huge yay for me ! Are you excited as much as I am ? I admit it that I am absolutely horrible at cooking but I am learning to get better (yea like there is still a chance for me). I am ashamed to admit this but I don't even know how to cook a potato. Now you can see how much I actually suck at this. So this kind of posts are going to be written for all those lazy girls out there, that maybe shouldn't be cooking (just in case we don't get food poisoning) and also for those master chefs of your own kitchens, but you are probably going to laugh to our cooking ''skills'' :(. The important thing is to have fun and maybe even eat a little something on the end ;) I said maybe !

Ohjej prvič pišem objavo v slovenščini in še to na pobudo nekaterih bralcev bloga. Nevem zakaj ampak me je nekako bolj strah pisati v slovenskem jeziku kot pa v angleškem, kljub temu, da moja angleščina ni ravno briljantna. No pa začnimo. Mini korfki z Nutello. Tista majhna rdečelaska, ki definitivno ni za pred pečico ali štedilnik, je končno nekaj skupaj “spacala”. Moram priznati, da sem obupna v kuhanju, ampak se počasi trudim nekaj naučiti (res počasi). Sram me je priznati, ampak niti krompirja neznam skuhati, kar vam je lahko v velik dokaz, da služba kuharice pa res ni zame. Takšne vrste objav na mojem blogu, ki se bodo začele z nazivom Rehead Learning How To Cook (Rdečelaska se uči kuhati) bodo namenjene vsem tistim Špelam, katerih so sposobnosti v kuhinji na nivoju mojih in katerim bi verjetno morali prepovedati kuhanje čisto iz preventivnih razlogov, ter za tiste, ki ste strokovnjaki na tem područja, a vi se boste verjetno zadrževali pri teh receptih izključno zato, da se nasmejete. Kdorkoli že si in kakršnekoli so tvoje sposobnosti v kuhinji-Dobrodošel ! Pomembno je, da se imamo fajn  in mogoče na koncu celo tudi kaj pohrustamo ;) Rekla sem mogoče !

NOTE: Those mini doughnuts are made with doughnut maker machine. You can purchase them in many stores, even online under really low prices. This machine is great because it's so simple to use and easy to clean. Which is a-m-a-z-i-n-g for someone like me.

OPOMBA: Mini krofki so narejeni z napravo za pečenje krofov. Takšne vrste naprav lahko po zelo nizkih cenah najdete v ogromno trgovinah, jaz osebno sem svojo kupila v Lidl-u. Tale napravica je super, saj je res enostavna za uporabo in še lažja za čiščenje. Kar pa je super, če ste takšna lenobica kot sem jaz.

This recipe is enough for about 50 little doughnuts. / Recept za 50 mini krofkov.



260 g flour

130 g sugar

1 pkt vanilla sugar

150 ml milk

100 ml cream (heavy cream and not sour cream)

3 eggs

3 tbsp corn oil (corn oil was used in original recipe but I use regular vegatable oil)

1 pkt baking powder


TOPPING:

5 tbsp nutella

sprinkles
260 g moke

130g sladkorja

1 zavojček vaniljevega sladkorja

150 ml mleka

100 ml sladke smetane

3 jajca

3 žlice olja iz koruznih kalčkov ( jaz uporabljam kar navadno rastlinsko olje )

1 zavojček pecilnega praška



GLAZURA:

5 žlic Nutelle

Stir the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, cream, eggs, oil and baking powder into a smooth pastry. Turn on your doughnut maker and wait for few minutes until it's hot enough to start baking (each doughnut maker is different, so you have to read instructions that came with the machine. Yep you actually have to read the instructions). Open a machine and start putting pastry in the doughnuts molds with teaspoon. Make sure molds are fully covered but not too much because your doughnuts still need to have holes in the middle once they are baked. Put down the upper side of machine and wait for around 2 minutes (time completely depends on machine). Once they are baked take them out, you can help yourself with the tooth stick or teaspoon. Well taking them out was a surprise, right ? lol.
Doughnuts are the best next day, when they are completely cooled down (who am I kidding? I couldn't stop myself from not eating them, while they were still super hot) because right after they're baked you can feel baking powder in your mouth and that is just an awful taste my dear, trust me.

Iz moke, sladkorja, vaniljevega sladkorja, mleka, smetane, jajc, olja in pecilnega praška zamešaj gladko testo. Prižgi svojo napravo za delanje krofkov in počakaj dokler se ne segreje do primerne temperature za pečenje ( vsaka naprava je drugačna, zato je potrebno prebrati navodila, ki so priložena k napravi). Odpri napravico in začni vlivati tekoče testo v vdolbine namenjene krofkom, pomagaj si z žličko. Da bi krofki bili čim bolj lepši moraš vdolbino napolniti do vrha a kljub temu ne preveč, saj krofki morajo imeti na sredini luknjo, ko so pečeni. Zgornji del naprave položiš dol in počakaš približno 2 minute, čas je odvisen od naprave. Ko so pečeni, jih s pomočjo zobotrebca ali žličke damo ven.
Krofki so najboljši naslednji dan (ok, bom bila iskrena in vam povedala, da se jim je nemogoče upreti medtem, ko so še topli) zato ker takoj, ko so pečeni imajo preveč okus po pecilnem prašku kar pa je precej zoprno. Naslednji dan ta okus izgine in so odlični !
In a bowl (microwave safe) put Nutella and put it directly in the microwave for 3 minutes/4ooW or until Nutella gets more smooth. Take your cute doughnuts (if there is still any left) and put one side in Nutella. Sprinkle with colorful sprinkles for more adorable look ;) That's it ! Bon apetit and enjoy the master piece you have just created. Honey don't forget: BABY STEPS!

V posodo primerno za gretje v mikrovalovni pečici (jaz uporabljam steklene posode( po veliki verjetnosti še tiste, ki sta ju starša dobila za poročno darilo in so v resnici kristalne. ups.) nameči Nutello in položi v pečico ter jo pusti, da se topi približno 3 min/400W. Vzemi svoje najbolj simpatične krofke, če jih je seveda še kaj ostalo in jih iz ene strani pomoči v Nutello. Posipaj z barvitimi mrvicami za bolj očem prijazen videz in pojej najmanj 3 krofke zato, da se prepričaš ali so užitni. Konec ! Uživaj v umetniji, ki si jo ravnokar pripravil/a ;) In ne pozabi, počasi se daleč pride ;)
