BANANA CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

Čokoladni mafini so nekaj s čimer ne moreš zgrešiti in ni osebe, ki jih ne bi marala. Sama vedno govorim, da ne maram banan v sladicah, a nekako pa so le-te tiste, ki jih najpogosteje pripravljam. Razlog temu je, da mi vedno ostajajo banane, ki pa se hitro zmehčajo in tako postanejo idealne za sladice. Ponovno se je tako zgodilo neki dan, ko mi je cel šop banan ostal na pultu in sem razmišljala kaj naj storim z njimi. Nisem želela pripraviti običajnih bananinih mafinov, a misel na čokolado, me je navduševala, zato sem se odločila za kombinacijo obojega.


You can't go wrong with chocolate muffins and I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't like them. I keep saying I don't like bananas in desserts but somehow I keep making only those, but the reason for that is that I keep having ripped bananas hanging on top of my counter and I don't know where else to use them. The same situation happened to me the other day so I was wondering if I should prepare banan bread again or maybe try something new, so I went with banana chocolate chip muffins instead.




BANANINI ČOKOLADNI MAFINI


. Sestavine .


// 8 žlic moke
// 4 žlice sladkorja
// 3 zvrhani žlici grenkega kakava
// 2 zreli banani
// 1 jajce
// 1 zvrhana žlička pecilnega praška
// 4 male žličke mandljevega namaza s cimetom in vanilijo Tereza's Choice (nadomestilo: nekaj kapljic vanilijeve arome + 1/2 čajne žlička cimeta)
// 3 žlice čokoladnih kapljic




. Postopek .


1. Pripravi posodice za mafine.

2. V posodi zmešaj pregnetene banane, jajce in madljev namaz.

3. V drugi posodi zmešaj moko, sladkor, kakav in pecilni prašek. Mešaj, da nastane tekoča zmes.

4. S spatulo narahlo vmešaj ¾ čokoladnih kapljic v pripravljeno zmes.

5. Z večjo žlico napolni posodice za mafine. Po vrhu posuj preostanek čokoladnih kapljic.

6. Peci v pečici na 180°C za 20 minut.

7. Pečene mafine pusti stati nekaj minut v posodicah, nato jih prestavi na rešeto, da se ohladijo do konca.

BANANA CHOCOLATE MUFFINS


. Ingredients .


// 8 tbsp flour
// 4 tbsp sugar
// 3 tbsp cocoa powder
// 2 ripped bananas
// 1 egg
// 1 tsp. baking powder
// 3 tbsp chocolate drops
// 4 tsp. almond spread with cinnamon and vanilla Tereza's Choice (substitute: few drops of vanilla extract + 1/2 tsp of cinnamon)



. Directions .


1. Line a standard size muffin tin with liners; set aside.

2. In a bowl whisk together mashed bananas, egg and cinnamon paste.

3. In another bowl mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix until combined.

4. Fold in ¾ of the chocolate chips with a spatula.

5. Using a large scoop, fill each liner. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ of chocolate chips on top.

6. Place in the oven to bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.

7.  Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
